This isn't really an Alliance operations console. It's a Capture The Flag exercise dressed as one. Can you infiltrate every Imperial system and recover the intelligence hidden inside?
Tonight's Tasking
Hidden throughout Imperial systems are classified intelligence fragments that belong to the still-unfinished battle station's own systems. These fragments sit behind locked terminals, buried in unexpected systems, and wait to be recovered by operatives determined enough to find them. Fair warning: this network was thrown together in a hurry by an exhausted trooper on maintenance rotation, not a security team.
Your tasking: Infiltrate the network, defeat its safeguards, and recover every intelligence fragment to fully reconstruct the battle station's plans. Some fragments are locked behind harder countermeasures, but there is always a path in for an operative persistent enough to find it.
Remember: every fragment recovered brings the Alliance closer to a full picture of the target. The question is... can we finish the board before the station comes online?
Intelligence Fragments
The recovered fragments are encoded, out of Imperial habit. Each piece holds part of the station's design. Recover them all to reconstruct the full plans... if the countermeasures let you.
One Trooper, Unwatched
What we're reading off a stormtrooper's own terminal — he has no idea we're on the other end of it

Intercepted live off his own console. He does not know we are here.
"So there I was, 03:00 station time, wiring up a remote maintenance terminal into a battle station that is not even finished being built. If you can call it wiring, since most of it was automated. My eyes were burning, my hands were shaking, and I still had half the access controls to configure. Naturally I let the automation write the security protocols too. Then I spilled caf over the console, but it still booted."
"It was only after I opened remote access that I understood what I'd actually exposed — the full construction schematic, sitting behind one terminal I threw together in a night. Pulling the access down would mean explaining why it existed, so instead I broke the plans into encoded pieces and scattered them across every system I could reach. Surely no one would be reckless enough to go looking for them all, right?"
"I'll file the incident report after some sleep. What's the worst that could happen? It's not like a room full of Rebel operatives is going to work together and recover every single fragment scattered across this network. Some of them are hidden in places so obvious you'd never think to check."
“Also, I should probably remove that debug selfie from the site... it's just me looking exhausted but I'm worried it might ｃoｎｔaｉｎ ｍoｒe than just my tired face...... Oh well, too tired to check properly. What could be hidden in a simple photo anyway?”

🔍 Search Everything
Don't just follow the obvious links. Check source, inspect terminals, and search every system you can reach. Some doors are hidden in plain sight — check Imperial policy files, and see if any internal labels look... coded.
🗺️ Chart the Network
Every Imperial installation files a sitemap somewhere. Sometimes the fastest way to find a hidden system is to see the whole layout at once.
🔐 Think Like the Empire
Look for patterns, try the approach nobody sanctioned, and remember: if a countermeasure seems too easy to slip past, you're probably missing a second one.

💡 Field note: every fragment you recover exposes a little more of the schematic — and a little more of how it got out. It's only a matter of time before Imperial Security notices the terminal.
